The Show Is Going Great

Hi All,

Only a quick note tonight as I am shattered. The BAS National Show is going down a storm, lots of people new and old to alpacas with lots of enquiries not just about my woodwork but getting into breeding these enchanting animals. Good to meet you guys today.

There is still time to come and see us at the show as it finishes tomorrow at 17.00 so if  your around pop along to the International Centre in Telford, it would be great to see you.

Take care all

At The BAS National Show

Hi All,

We are now at the BAS National Show in Telford, no don't worry we have not brought any alpacas as that is something we personally don't believe in doing, we bring fleeces to shows and leave the alpacas at home.

This weekend though we have a trade stand at the show so you are all more than welcome to come and meet up and have a chat, we are located along the concourse opposite a nice cafe/restaurant so grab a coffee and come and see us.

There are so many alpacas here from a lot of breeders hoping to do well, the car parks are rammed with trailers, lorries that have brought alpacas to the show. We would just like to take this opportunity again to wish all those breeders that have brought alpacas, good luck.

Well I'm sitting in my hotel room ready to call it a night, it's an early start in the morning so I will update you more over the weekend as the show goes on.

Take care all.

Pictures As Promised

Evening All,

What an amazing day, the weather certainly makes you feel like the summer has arrived, so lets hope that this is the start of whats to come this year. As promised we have taken some pictures of some of our girls enjoying the sunshine, it was great seeing them sunbathing earlier knowing that they are lapping up the sun.

Just a selection of some of our girls that are growing up to be cracking breeding females and some that will be producing amazing elite genetics when their cria are born. We are so excited with whats coming through the ranks this year as we have been keeping some of our females hidden ready to produce those cria that are going to be highly sought after.

Take care all.

One Week To Go!

Morning All,

Well with just this week to go until the BAS Show at Telford, we are flat out putting the finishing touches to our trade stand, it's all starting to come together and we have some amazing items that will be for sale at the show, why not come along and find us this coming weekend and take a look.

Our last blog was supposed to be updated with some alpaca pictures as the sun was out but due to a little technical hitch we were unable to upload the pictures, so being as it's such a beautiful day again today we will attempt to get some pictures and upload them later.

Take care all and enjoy the lovely weather.

The Sun Is Out

Hi Folks,

The sun is out and after a good frost this morning it's looking like a beautiful day ahead. The alpacas are out enjoying the sun on their backs and hope to get some pictures later to update the blog with.

We are absolutely flat out preparing stock for our trade stand at the British Alpaca Society Show in Telford in the next couple of weeks, it's looking like it's going to be a very interesting weekend at the show with plenty of networking planned. Why not pop by our stand and have a look at our products and have a chat, a warm welcome awaits.

Well just a quick blog this morning the jobs won't get done by themselves, so we will be back later with some pictures of the alpacas and some of the products that will be on our trade stand.

Take care all

It's a wrap for Pebbles.....

Hello all

We had a lovely day yesterday here at WillowBank, over the past few years we have had a student attending our farm, Anjali comes to our farm to help with all our animals and gain experience with them all, she has put her heart and soul in to studying to become a vet, she is now well into her first year at Liverpool University. when she comes back home she comes and gets her hands dirty once again mucking in with the animals, yesterday was no exception.

Pebbles was happy to help Anjali practise ear bandages, think she was enjoying all the attention. Lily was also enjoying being a vet nurse.

All good with Alpacas spending most of their time in the barn out of the rain and off the wet ground, they all very happy going out to stretch their legs and have breakfast out while I get them mucked out so they come back to lovely fresh beds and topped up hay.

That's all for now

Take Care
