Alpacas Come, Alpacas Go

Hi All

Well what a cracking couple of days we have had, not only has the weather been kind and increased its temperature by a couple of degrees which has made a massive difference after the bitter cold of late, it's great to see that warm bright glow in the sky again, I think they call it the sun.....well that's enough about the weather I don't want to ruin it!

Yesterday we made a delivery of a couple of alpacas to a lovely couple called Lisa and Dave they were over the moon with their delivery and couldn't wait to get them out the trailer.

Lisa and Dave are a smashing couple and will enjoy these two as much as the others they own as pets, I'm sure the kids will too.

we have been busy with the new stabling that we have been erecting which will also double up as alpaca holding pens for shearing and gated access into the shearing area with a channel which will make injecting, toe nail trimming a lot easier. I will grab a picture or two of this tomorrow so you can see what we have been up to.

Now today saw a delivery arrive for us here at WillowBank, we are pleased to announce that we have the honour and the privilege to be the new owners of Wellground Tchaikovsky. We have been very lucky in being able to purchase him from Rob & Les at Wellground Alpaca Stud and can't thank them enough for allowing us to purchase such a prestige stud from their herd, we are all keeping a close eye on what Tchaikovsky will pass on to his cria's, so keep an eye on Wellgrounds Blog and website as Rob and Les have covered few of the girls with Tchaikovsky which will make some interesting offspring indeed.

We plan on grabbing some more pictures of Tchaikovsky tomorrow when he has settled in a bit more and will share with you all this stunning stud boy which has now formed part of our core herd sires.

More on all the above tomorrow and another big thank you to Rob and Les at Wellground Alpaca Stud.
